Sept 14 Piedmont Area Mensa Annual Lake Party |
Piedmont Area Mensa
invites you to join them for their Annual Lake Party to be held on Sunday,
September 14, at the home of Maggie and Andy Watts, 1743 E. Saluda Lake
Rd., Greenville, SC. Festivities will begin at 2:00 pm, Smoked turkey and
BBQ will be provided as will all paper goods, utensils, serving pieces etc.
The party will take place rain or shine. The deck at the lake has a good
roof, so the only way you will get wet is by going swimming. Bring a swimsuit
and towel, a side dish to share and your favorite beverage.
Directions: Take US 25 to Greenville. About 1.7 miles after you cross 183 turn right between Ingles and Silver Bay Restaurant, into the entrance to Westcliff. Follow this road until it dead-ends, turn left and follow that road until it dead-ends. Call Maggie at 864-246-4577 to RSVP or for further information. |

Earth Haven is an aspiring ecovillage in a mountain forest setting near Asheville, NC. They are dedicated to caring for people and the Earth by learning, living, and demonstrating a holistic, sustainable culture. We will have a tour of the village and then invite everyone to bring their own and a little bit to share for a picnic lunch on site.
